The advertisement concerns a training position via the Craft Academy in Stockholm. The training is unpaid but eligible for student loans (CSN). Over two years, you will learn the craft of timber framing from the ground up.

As an apprentice, you should be interested in traditional building techniques while also being open to what the modern construction industry can offer. It is desirable that you have previously worked with crafts and therefore know that this is the right career choice for you. You need to be proactive in seeking information, asking questions, and above all, you must be able to make your own decisions and take your own initiatives. The ability to work independently is a requirement. During the training, you will get to timber frame a smaller timber house using traditional methods where craftsmanship is at the center. You will also participate in the company's other construction sites to an increasing extent as time goes on, where the projects can vary greatly. This can involve everything from completely restoration to building entirely new structures. The goal is for you to become a versatile craftsman ready to make a living from your profession.

The apprenticeship is part of a training program via the Craft Academy in Stockholm. You will spend 4 out of 5 days at the apprenticeship site, with the 5th day in school in Stockholm. The training lasts for two years.
